The Women’s Protection

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and in collaboration with the association Se Non Ora Quando?, Zurich mobilized all its employees to create “The Women’s Protection”, an initiative aimed at protecting women online.

Verbal abuse on social media has continued to grow. To counter it, Zurich and Zurich Connect deployed their 1,000 employees, who identified offensive comments targeting women across major platforms and reported them through their personal profiles until they were removed.

During the initiative, women experiencing verbal abuse on social media were able to request the team’s support by tagging Zurich Connect under the offensive comments.
